In an effort to expand its ongoing partnerships with organizations whose mission is to make a difference via truly visionary and noble projects, Domani Vision Film Society is proud to announce its new alliance with Harlem RBI.  

Harlem RBI's mission is to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to Play, Learn, and Grow, using the power of teams to coach, teach, and inspire youth to recgnize their potential and realize their dreams.  Harlem RBI's vision is to be a model learning community where youth become healthy, educated, and active global citizens who achieve excellence and change the world.

dvfs gearing up for 2012 edition of the 5x5 New York State of Mind Digital Project

The Domani Vision Film Society is currently fleshing out plans for the 2012 5x5 New York State of Mind Digital Project.  The project consists of five NY-based filmmakers (t.b.d.) who will be invited to work together with DVFS to produce five digital shorts (each with a running time of approx. 5 minutes), using a determined set of guidelines and finishing each project in a total span of five days.  The completed works, which will be produced from the 5 winning scripts of the 2012 5x5 Short Script Competition, will then be showcased in a "world premiere" forum during the Awards Ceremony of VF12, on June 24th, at Tribeca Cinemas. Festival alum, Nyle Cavazos Garcia, is set to produce.
